Korean actress Jeong Da-bin Jeong Da-bin)was found dead at her boyfriend's home on Saturday, Feb. 10, according to police.
Investigators said Jeong, 27, apparently hanged herself at her boyfriend's house in southern Seoul at around 8 a.m.

The boyfriend, who was only identified by his last name Lee, told the police that he discovered the body.

He was quoted as saying that she was found dead with a white towel around her neck.

The police suspect that Jeong committed suicide considering there was no sign that it was a murder. They are trying to determine the exact cause of her death.

Jeong, who also became a Korean pop culture star in Taiwan in 2005, acted in television dramas and movies.

If her death is confirmed to have been a suicide, it would be the latest case of a well-known Korean actress or pop star taking her own life.

On Jan. 21, a female singer Yuni committed suicide, while movie actress Lee Eun-joo killed herself in February 2005, which shocked many Koreans.

This is not only sad but enraging to me . Do Koreans think having so many talented people makes it OK to loose some. I have been reading the korean online newspapers and watching some korean TV news and they reported it so casually i felt disgusted. I'm afraid this cold reaction represents a majority of the Korean population, they seem to forget it the next day. There is a problem here!!! Educate yourselves, find a solution. Isn't it obvious that there should be some kind of campain to fight this ? How many more of those beatifull people must die before something is done? Worst of all how many people kill themselves everyday and noone notices. While in other countries its an individual problem for Korea (and maybe Sweden) its a communal one. Save yourselves, Save your kids!

annyeonghaseyo to all,

i was watching a local channel here in the philippines when they feature a news about Jung Dabin, I was really shock to hear what happen to her. I agree with you guys when you say that shes a good actress. I really like her at attic cat and my 19 year old sister-in-law.

my warmest condolences to the family,friends and fans of the late Jung Dabin. may GOD's comforting grace be upon the family of Jung Dabin.
