A growing number of domestic singers are poised to establish their presence overseas this year. Their presence is expected to expand from Asia, including Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong, to the Middle East and the Americas as well. Baby VOX Re. V is one of the Korean bands to advance to the Middle East, where few Korean singers are well-known so far.

Domestic artists are also eyeing the American market, whose music record market is not limited to the U.S. only but also indirectly paves the way for artists' advancement to Latin America, Europe and Asia as well.

Stony Skunk member Skul was the first to gain popularity in America last year. This year, Seven, Min, G-Soul and Lim Jung-hee will also try their luck in America.

The advancement of domestic artists to the Latin American market is also likely to happen soon.

The year 2008 will likely see various new endeavors in the music industry and rising expectations for a breakthrough in the stagnant domestic music market.
