Actress Han Hye-jin, who has always been actively engaged in numerous charity activities, recently flew to Laos to extend a helping hand.

During her eight-day trip, she will be visiting Sepone and Nong, two of the most impoverished regions in Laos to give hope to underprivileged children.

Children in those two regions are not only exposed to famine but also to unexploded shells that did not detonate when they were dropped during World War 2.

Prior to the departure, Han Hye-jin said that this will be particularly meaningful to her as it is her first overseas charity mission.
