
Park Jin-Young (박진영, born November 13, 1972) also known as J.Y.Park is a South Korean singer and songwriter, and the current CEO/founder of JYP Entertainment, a major artist management/record label of Korean pop music and one of the most successful artists/entrepreneur in Asia. Park graduated from Yonsei University majoring in Geology in 1996. His debut was in 1994 with the first album Blue City. Especially, his fashion style since his debut has been very controversial over the Korean People. He Produced many popular Artist, among those are Park Ji Yoon, Rain, g.o.d, Wonder Girls, etc. As a producer, he is the first Asian producer to successfully crossover to the U.S. He has produced music for Will Smith, R. Kelly, Lil John, Mase and Cassie. He has produced over 27 No.1 singles and 19 No.1 albums in Asia through his industry leading company, JYP Entertainment. He married to a Woman named Yoon Jung Suh in 1998, whom he had crush on for 9 years. Discovered, trained and produced “Rain” one of the biggest Asian artists in history. He also has produced music for F4 and Jackie Chung in China, and for AI in Japan. He composed and also Choreograph the dance moves for the No.1 Korean Chart song "Tell Me," by Wonder Girls, which has been making a UCC boom in Korea and in Asia Currently! The song "Tell Me" is so popular around Korean People, it is now almost known as National Pop Song, also people of all ages Dance to the music and even film it to uploaded as UCC. He composed songs and also Choreograph the dance moves for many popular Artists that were popular among the Korean People, and the songs hit No.1 Chart. He is currently producing Asian singers, Min and G-soul, who will debut in the U.S. in 2007/2008.
