Actor Lee Jun-ki recently said, "I am extremely honored and nervous to finally meet my idol."

During a recent interview, he also asked, "Is there anyone who hasn't been a fan of Seo Taiji at one point or another? Do you know anyone like that?" He also went on to say, "I was a huge fan and he was a great inspiration."

Seo Taiji, who recently released his 8th single album, will meet with Lee in a special program entitled "Seo Taiji's Comeback Special" on MBC TV that will be aired on August 4. Lee will meet the legendary singer as a fan.

Lee said, "As I got older, I became saddened by the thought of losing the innocent passion I once had for my idols. I still can't believe that I am going to meet the idol of my childhood. I really want to feel that passion once again."

Actor Lee Jun-ki, who is currently shooting the SBS drama series "Iljimae," is receiving significant support from his fans.

According to the actor's management agency, Lee's fanclub "Lee Jun-ki Gallery" recently visited the production crew on location with 120 goodie bags and snacks.

Each goodie bag contained useful items such as a towel, T-shirt, ice pack, cell phone accessory and socks. Prior to the surprise visit, the fan club also organized a barbeque party on location for the cast and staff of the show.

Lee showed his deep appreciation by promising to deliver a great performance until the very last episode and thanked his fans for their constant support.

Lee Jun-ki, who currently stars in the SBS drama series "Iljimae," has decided to donate the entire bulk of his modeling fee paid by cosmetics brand VOV to children with cancer.

Lee's management agency said Lee was recently chosen as the male model for the Korean cosmetics brand VOV's Fall catalog.

It added it was the actor's heartfelt wish to donate the money he earned from modeling to children suffering from cancer.

Meanwhile, VOV says it signed a one-year contract with Lee, saying he has a fresh and enigmatic look that goes well with the company's trendy image.

Actor Lee Jun-ki has stepped forward with his fans to help the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the Sechuan Province in China.

Lee's management agency said the gesture was his way of giving back the love and support he has been receiving from his Chinese fans. The actor--when he read the news that his Chinese fans had launched a campaign to collect 1 yuan coins for the quake victims--decided to begin his own relief campaign to collect one thousand won notes, equivalent to one U.S. dollar, with his Korean fans. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.

Lee takes on the role of chivalrous thief Iljimae in the popular SBS drama series "Iljimae."

Thirty Korean celebrities, including Lee Jun-ki, Goh Hyun-jung, Han Ji-min, Chae Si-ra, Bae Jong-ok, Jung Il-woo and Kim Je-dong, are participating in a video shoot to help starving North Koreans.

The international relief group JTS said on May 27 that Korea's top celebrities are taking part in a relay video shoot to ask fellow South Koreans to help their hungry neighbors in the North.

JTS said the videos are quickly spreading through major Internet portal sites and that other celebrities have also expressed their wish to take part in the campaign.

Writer Noh Hee-kyung, who also took part in the event, said she wanted to help as soon as she found out that people in the North are starving. She added that "starving children do not know politics."
