Bae Doo-na (b. 1979) is a South Korean model, actress and photographer. She is best known outside Korea for her role as the protagonist's political activist girlfriend, Cha Yeong-mi, in Park Chan-wook's film Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) and as Park Nam-ju in The Host (2006).

Renowned Hollywood filmmaker Michael Bay is interested in producing a remake of the movie "The Host," according to Hollywood film producer Roy Lee, who bought the copyrights to a future remake.

A special showing of director Bong Jun-ho’s works has been held in three US cities of New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
The Korean Film Council said Monday that it has organized the event to mark the release of Bong’s recent film “The Host” there on Friday.

The biggest Korean blockbuster to date, "The Host" by director Bong Joon-ho, will open in China in March.

Director Bong Jun-ho’s “The Host” has been included among the 10 best foreign movies in 2006 selected by Japan’s leading film magazine, Kinema Junbo.
